 Charlie Christos is a musician/writer/teacher, best known for his work as an independent singer-songwriter. Charlie released his debut album entitled Overawake in 2006, and recently followed it up with an album of alternative-folk music called 'Widow's Gun', which broke into the top 200 on the AMA Radio Charts in 2010. Charlie has also performed, arranged, and recorded with with multi-platinum Grammy winning artist Serj Tankian(System of a Down), and has stage experience with Tony winners Diane Paulus(Hair), and Steven Sater(Spring Awakening), as the featured lead guitarist for their rock musical Prometheus Bound, which premiered at the American Repertory Theater(Harvard University). |
His Album Overawake features Grammy winner Stephen Webber(Bela Fleck), and was mastered by Grammy nominated Jonathan Wyner(Nirvana, Bleach). Charlie presently resides in southern New Hampshire, where he writes, records, and teaches out of his studio (Selahdoor), and performs in select venues throughout the Northeast.
